CIVEON was founded as a civil engineering consulting firm in Abbotsford, BC, with deep roots in the Lower Mainland and a passion for building stronger, more sustainable communities. After years of hands-on experience delivering municipal infrastructure and land development projects across the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver, CIVEON was launched to provide dedicated, high-quality engineering services with the personal touch and local understanding.

Meet Shah Khan, M.A.Sc., P.Eng.
Civil Engineering Lead
Shah brings over four years of progressive experience in BC municipal infrastructure and land development sector, and over ten years of combined experience as a researcher, project management, and planning & design. He has served as Engineer of Record (EOR) on small-to-medium land development and municipal projects, delivered hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, prepared MMCD-compliant drawings and documents, and supported construction administration including RFIs and change orders.
His background includes roles at Fraser Valley Engineering Ltd. and WSP Canada, plus earlier experience on a major wastewater collection system internationally and graduate research at UBC focused on life-cycle analysis of municipal infrastructure specifically water infrastructure (with peer-reviewed publications on sustainable infrastructure).
This combination of local BC experience, advanced technical skills, regulatory knowledge, and a passion for sustainable design allows CIVEON to deliver high-value engineering tailored to our region.
